Our client is a successful and established private organization specialising in high-quality printed apparel for corporate wear, workwear, uniforms, and sportswear. Due to the business expanding its production, they are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager with existing networks based in Melbourne to work autonomously and drive sales through new and existing business channels. This role will report to the Sales & Marketing Manager based in Brisbane.
Key role responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Development: Identify, target, and secure business opportunities in the corporate, government, sporting, and educational sectors.
- Networking and Relationship Building: Leverage existing contacts while continually expanding the client base through strategic networking and partnerships.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Maintain an understanding of market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee the development of the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent flow and conversion of leads.
- Performance Reporting: Deliver detailed and actionable reports on sales activities and market opportunities.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the Brisbane operations team to ensure alignment on pricing, product offerings, and order fulfillment.
Ideal candidate experience:
- Experience working in a sales role in related industries of workwear, sportswear, or corporate apparel
- Strong sales ability and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Existing networks and ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of customers and identify opportunities
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills
- Engaged and motivated with integrity and the ability to work autonomously
- Highly organised and proficient in MS Office and CRM software
- Full driver's license and ability to travel interstate where required
A full salary package inclusive of superannuation, car allowance, phone, laptop, and lucrative commissions will be offered. This is a flexible hybrid role, on road and working from home.
