Permanent Full-time (38 hrs p/w) and Permanent Part-time (19 hrs p/w)
Premium Recquatic Membership | 12.5% Superannuation | Rostered Day Off (Nine Day Fortnight offered for the full time role only)
Both positions (two) are classified as a PACS Band 7 ($85,987 - $94,294) under the City of Kwinana’s structured remuneration system._________________________________
The City of Kwinana is seeking two experienced Strategic Planners to join our high-achieving team across two brand new roles. It is requested that you specify your preference for either role in your application. About the RolesThis is a fantastic opportunity for two experienced Strategic Planners who enjoy the challenges and diverse opportunities of a planning environment undergoing significant transformation, to join our Planning and Development team.
About the part-time position: You will be responsible for the coordination and preparation of key land-use planning strategies and urban design projects. The position also prepares and processes structure plans, planning scheme amendments and assesses complex land-use planning and strategic development issues to achieve optimal development outcomes for the City of Kwinana.
About the full-time position: You will lead the coordination of the City’s development contribution plans in collaboration with the City Finance, Engineering and Community Teams, including the coordination of Annual Reviews, Annual Reports, DCP Scheme Amendments, administering the DCP cross functional team and working group and provide advice and support to the organisation in regard to DCP management and operations.
