Your Next Opportunity
Reporting to the National Supply Chain Manager this exciting role will allow you to run the end-to-end supply chain for key food and packaging portfolios. From liaising with suppliers, negotiating contracts and staying ahead of industry trends. This roll will be critical in ensuring seamless flow of products across our supply chain to all our stores across Australia.
Role Responsibilities
- Overall Procurement and Category management for key food and packaging categories
- Develop and manage key supplier relationships.
- Assist in the overall management and coaching of the wider supply chain team as well as acting as the “second in charge” or escalation point when needed.
- Collaborating closely with our New Products team to source new and improved products, raw materials and ingredients in line with the brand's strategy and direction ensuring best value and lowest risk
- Identify and implement cost savings initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you must have the following:
- A bachelor's degree with a business / commercial focus
- A minimum of 3-5 years demonstrated experience in procurement, supply chain and related systems
- Experience working in manufacturing or QSR/Franchise industry is preferred
- Strong commercial acumen, knowledge of commodity markets (highly advantageous), and the ability to negotiate and influence for optimal business outcomes
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment, delivering projects to deadlines
- Self-motivated with a positive and proactive attitude
