What will your typical day look like?
As a Strategy and Operations Consultant in the Industrial Redesign & Innovation team, you will provide exceptional client service and apply your experience to:
- Be part of a high performing team with a strong commitment to excellence in pursuit of business, sustainability, and climate goals for our clients
- Support some of most visible and important nation-building programs across both public and private sector organisations
- Assist and support business development opportunities, including preparing client proposals and scoping client engagements
- Apply project management skills to coordinate highly effective teams, while guiding junior colleagues and building strong client relationships
- Undertake extensive operations and transformation focused training and development (both structured and on the job) with the opportunity to experience borderless careers through international assignments and secondments
- Draw on Deloitte’s unique capabilities in Structured Problem Solving, Design thinking, Digital, Data Analytics, Deloitte Access Economics and experience from our global consulting network
About the team
Deloitte Consulting’s Industrial Redesign & Innovation (IR&I) team aims to assist businesses, governments and communities to understand and deliver on the change needed in their organisations to address the most pressing issues in Australia today. The team focuses on bringing together climate and social advisory capabilities with asset, digital and strategy specialists to ensure our client’s choices, investments, physical assets and technology landscapes are moving towards the realities of today’s transformations. It is an exciting, growing and highly visible area within Deloitte that has the most innovative, bright, and disruptive minds.

In response to strong client demand for our services, we have multiple roles for outstanding Consultant and Senior Consultant level practitioners.
You are a highly motivated individual with:
- Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Curiosity to learn and passionate about develop oneself and others as well
- Excited to collaborate in a team environment to solve complex business problems
- Ability to deliver compelling arguments at executive and working level
- Expanding work experience in large transformative and nationally critical programs that incorporating both a strategy and implementation lens
- Passionate about delivering real organisational outcomes
- Ability to plan and deliver streams of work, including defining client problems, co-designing solutions and presenting to senior client stakeholders
- Advanced problem solving, business analysis and project delivery skills
- Desirable but not essential - have or be eligible for AGSVA baseline clearance
