Job Title: Strength and Conditioning Coach
Job Description:
RADcentre empowers athletes to improve their performance and wellbeing - we are a high performance company based in Ballarat and servicing across Western Victoria - offering Strength and Conditioning, Physiotherapy, Injury Rehabilitation and Sports Dietetics. Our purpose built facility includes a 500m2 performance gym, running track and treatment rooms that open up on to the gym floor.
In addition to this we have a range of testing equipment to help make sure we are producing the best results for the athletes we are working with including - force plates, timing gates, compex, blood flow restriction and dynamometers.
We are currently seeking a Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our high performance team.
With the key aims:
Empower athletes physical performance and well-being through personalised care, rehabilitation expertise, and collaborative health management. Drive results by focusing on client satisfaction, fostering strong collaboration with the RAD team, and maintaining a commitment to continued education.
Responsibilities:
Client Satisfaction:
- Prioritise athlete-centered care and holistic well-being, ensuring their comfort and progress throughout the performance training or rehabilitation process.
- Actively listen to athlete’s concerns, provide clear explanations of training plans, and make necessary adjustments to optimise their experience and outcomes.
Collaboration with RAD Team:
- Work closely with the RAD team to create comprehensive training plans, combining expertise from various disciplines to address complex cases.
- Participate in regular multidisciplinary meetings, contributing valuable insights and collaborating on programming and coaching strategies for the best athlete results.
Continued Education:
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in Strength and Conditioning and related fields through ongoing education, workshops, and professional networking.
- Apply new knowledge and techniques to enhance athlete care, sharing best practices with the team and contributing to the evolution of our Strength and Conditioning protocols.
Requirements:
- Degree in Exercise and Sport Science, along with relevant certifications.
- Proven experience in the Strength and Conditioning field
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for sports and a commitment to promoting overall athlete wellness.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Desirable - proven experience working in team sport environments
- Essential - Level 1/2/3 Strength and Conditioning Coach ASCA
