About the role
The Designers role is to create and distribute sufficiently coordinated model and produce dimensionally accurate design documentation to the project team. This role will make a difference to our business in the following way:
- Ensure accurate design and documentation of engineering systems on projects ranging from commercial, retail, hospital, pharmaceutical or industrial developments, refurbishment or tenancy fit out.
- Production of services models as requested utilising the suite of ADP tools.
- Work collaboratively with all offices in order to effectively co-ordinate drawing work packages and support engineering teams in model management and model audits.
- Ensure ADP’s Quality System is implemented and maintained for all projects.
- Have a strong external clients focus as well as an internal with various teams and stakeholders across the business.
- Contribute to Revit development as required.
As a Structural BIM Designer, you are passionate about engineering, people and finding solutions. As an experienced member of our BIM team, you will be comfortable with discussing and articulating design ideas, concepts and project approaches.
- 5+ years industry experience in corporate construction or consulting engineering.
- Knowledge of concrete and steel detailing, construction methods and their impact on design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload with excellent attention to detail.
- Relevant tertiary qualification, combined with equivalent training, accreditation and experience.
- Software exposure: Revit, AutoCad, Navisworks, Bluebeam & Excel
