About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity with a great Engineering Consultancy, due to growth we are seeking an Intermediate level or Senior Structural Design Engineer who has worked in a similar Engineering Consultancy role.
The role will be cover both design and site. The projects will be challenging, typically medium and high-rise projects in the Residential, Commercial, Education, Health and Aged-Care sectors.
We are looking for someone who has worked on projects at least mid-rise in scale and been involved in site inspections on these projects.
About the candidate
Ideally you will have:
- A minimum of 5+ years of practical Structural Engineering experience
- Signifcant experience gained working in Australia
- Ideally experience working on the design of a variety of buildings and shoring, footings etc.
- Attended site inspections for mid-sized buildings and upwards
- Strong work ethic
- Team player, adaptable and flexible
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards
- Demonstrated understanding of Engineering codes, construction standards, specs, procedures and construction techniques and materials
- Established team, with supportive environment
