The Role As a Structural Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of residential projects. Collaborating closely with the design and construction teams, you will provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting structural analysis
Developing efficient structural solutions
Preparing accurate engineering documentation
Monitoring construction progress
By delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions tailored to our clients' needs, you will contribute to the successful completion of diverse and challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities Design
Perform complex structural design analysis to ensure safe construction of relocations.
Present structural concepts effectively to design team.
Identify critical design elements in advance to ensure effective workflow.
Provide technical advice that meets formal standards and compliance.
Checking
Review drawings to ensure governing codes and standards are met and work is of exceptional quality.
All work completed complies with local, state, national building codes and regulations.
Drafting
Undertake complex drafting that reviews environmental factors, government regulations, construction costs and risk analysis.
Information entered into relevant software with 100% accuracy.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil/Structural Engineering. Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a civil or Structural Engineering role. Strong technical knowledge of Structural Engineering principles, including the ability to analyse complex structural systems and designs. Proficiency in using industry-standard software tools for structural analysis and design. A solid understanding of building codes and regulations and the ability to apply these standards to ensure compliance and safety in all projects. Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a variety of stakeholders. A keen eye for detail and the ability to accurately interpret and follow technical specifications and construction documents. A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development to stay informed of the latest updates and changes in Structural Engineering technology and best practices
