Structural Engineer

Are you an experienced Structural Engineer with 5 to 10 years of expertise and RPEQ Certification? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the team as a Senior Structural Engineer in Brisbane.
Responsibilities:

• Oversight and enhancement of the Fireproofing & Structure Asset Register/Map to align with site configurations and updates.
• Conducting thorough inspections of Fireproofing and Structural Assets in accordance with established programs and asset priorities.
• Generating Structural and Fireproofing scopes of work and delivering reports on both Ad-Hoc and Program-based requirements.
• Coordinating closely with Maintenance and Execution Teams to facilitate timely maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborating with Third Party Companies to manage Engineering Studies and Assessments.
• Managing the inspection and engineering of Walkway and Access Areas.
• Assuming full responsibility for all Structural Engineering, Fireproofing, and Civil Engineering requests.
• Executing Structural Engineering Drafting and certification.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in managing inspection programs.
• Demonstrated experience in maintenance and operations.
• Competency in design, drafting, and certification drawings.
• Effective interaction with advisors to ensure balanced workload distribution.
• Strong background in concrete, structural, and civil engineering.
• Comfortable with primarily onsite work, with occasional work-from-home opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills, serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholder communication.
• Mechanical background is possible if relevant experience in concrete and structural.
• Experience working collaboratively in team environments.
• Previous involvement in projects supporting refinery construction is advantageous.
