We are seeking a quality and delivery driven structural engineer to join our Brisbane team. You will be working within our overall team producing design for numerous pod structures reporting to the Principal structural engineer
Techwave is currently having unforeseen growth and are looking for people who can work independently without supervisor and be able to produce quality designs within the client timeframes
The Engineer will be focusing on the site design activities including civil works to serve the equipment Hardware Design, installation and commissioning, including Design / Review the design of tower foundation and tower erection, brick wall fence, shelter/ODU and cable tray installation, fiber/power cable installation, site finishing, etc.
Application Architect Responsibilities:

• Analysis and assessment of monopoles, lattice towers, rooftop telco installation including antenna mounts.
• Coordinate with Design Engineers to design support structures for telecommunications equipment and antennas on new and existing sites;
• Extensive use of Engineering software such as MSTower, SpaceGas, Checkpole and Tedds
• Liaise and support Project Engineers, designers and other stakeholders regarding design related matters and ensure technical issues are efficiently resolved;
• Identify potential risks with the design and manage them out of the process as early as possible;
• Following Australian standards related to structural design such as AS4100, AS3600 and AS/NZS1170
• Ensure design Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to at all times;
• Ensuring all Site designs meet site specific design scope and Client specifications

• Relevant tertiary Engineering education or Engineering background
• 5 + years in civil work domain as site Designer or related roles
• Advanced knowledge of telecommunications/wireless project management, asset management, antenna system design and base station layout/installation
• Australian Driver license
• White card OHS induction
• Ability to travel within Australia if required
• Need to be familiar with Telecom standards and Mining /Oil & Gas standards specially construction / Civil standards.
