The purpose of the Student Engagement Advisor role is to assist current students of Torrens University, Media Design School and Think Education in continuing their studies. Through a combination of outbound campaigns and inbound query resolution, the Adviser will facilitate the re-enrolment of students into their chosen course each trimester.The role is target-driven, with the team carrying responsibility for meeting domestic and international returning student targets in each intake.This is a permanent full-time opportunity for candidates located in Adelaide.NOTE: You must hold full working rights in Australia to be successfully considered for this role. This role does not provide sponsorship opportunities.Day-to-day accountabilities:
  • Conduct outbound campaigns to domestic and international students across a range of channels to ensure they continue their studies.
  • Provide an elite level of customer service to students.
  • Assist students with inbound phone and email queries relating to subject selection, withdrawal information and study load.
  • Resolve enquiries relating to system and portal access.
  • Ensure revenue and retention targets for returning students are hit in each trimester.
  • Meet KPI’s and service levels around customer experience and satisfaction.

  • 2+ years of experience in Australian higher education, ideally in a student recruitment, contact centre or student services role.
  • Proven ability to provide a high quality customer experience.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics is highly regarded.
  • Strong verbal and written communication / presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship development and management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a target-led environment.
