Your new role
As the Student Experience Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving student engagement and facilitating connections between our students and national resilience and security government, academic and industry stakeholders. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a greenfield initiative, where your creativity and passion will contribute to shaping the future of Student Experiences within our faculty.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Collaborate closely with Curtin’s National Resilience & Security (NRAS) Program Office, to work closely with defence, national security and space market partners to identify opportunities for student engagement and involvement.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to connect students with these industry professionals, contractors, and relevant organisations.
- Organise events, workshops, and networking sessions to enhance students' understanding of this sector and potential career pathways.
- Provide personalised support and guidance to students interested in pursuing opportunities in this sector, including internships, projects, and employment prospects.
- Maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders to ensure ongoing collaboration and support for student initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of student engagement activities, implementing improvements as needed.
