About the BroncosThe Brisbane Broncos are a professional rugby league football Club. The organisation was founded in 1987, prior to the team’s entry into the competition in 1988, as the first team outside of NSW. The Broncos are committed to the long-term development of Rugby League in Queensland and the delivery of world class community programs focused on making a positive impact on the next generation.About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a hard-working, passionate and driven Coordinator to assist our Education Program Manager in the delivery of our Brisbane Broncos Sports Business Institute.The Student Experience Coordinator is responsible for ensuring an exceptional Student Experience for Brisbane Broncos Sports Business Institute students. Under the guidance of the Education Program Manager, the Student Experience Coordinator will coordinate work integrated learning activities, while enhancing the student group’s connection and engagement with the Club.Key focus areas include:
- Act as a key connection point for students in the program to engage with the Brisbane Broncos, and provide general guidance to students across a range of enquiries relating to work integrated learning and career development
- Liaise with key internal contacts to identify work integrated learning opportunities
- Communicate with students about opportunities in work integrated learning and regularly check in for feedback
- Roster students into key placements to ensure they are actively engaging in hours
- Completing daily check ins with TAFE Facilitators and fortnightly meetings
- Assist with sourcing and establishing relationships with external work integrated learning organisations
- Planning and organising of guest speakers for classes
- Management of facility booking for classes and any additional events or sessions as required
- Assist in organising key elements of Student Experience including deliverables relating to work integrated learning (ticketing, meal vouchers, reimbursements)
- Facilitate, track & report on student placement hours across the Club
- Identify opportunities to develop promotional content in-class and during work integrated learning activities
- Plan and coordinate a student networking event for students to engage with a range of employers prior to the conclusion of their studies
- Coordinate start of study (orientation) and end of study celebration activities
- Complete any ad hoc work integrated learning projects as and when required
- Organisation of students uniforms
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the Sport Business Institute by identifying opportunities to streamline processes or increase efficiencies
- Complete ad hoc tasks at the direction of the Manager, BBSBI
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Education, Sports Management, or a related discipline is desirable.
- Current Working with Children Check (including Blue Card)
- Previous experience in rostering or coordinating multiple stakeholders across activities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering events or engagement activities for diverse audiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly verbal and written communication.
- Ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with CRM systems.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills.
- Ability to plan to deliver and work to deadlines.
