Could this be your new role?
The Student Placement Administrator liaises with students and industry to ensure students are prepared for their Work Integrated Learning placement. This includes working closely with the Work Integrated Learning Coordinator to assist with: 

• development and maintenance of relationships with external professional, community and/or industry practitioners
• acting as an interface between these parties and with students to ensure the smooth end to end administration of the course.

This position will suit an experienced administrative professional; someone who wants to be actively involved in the training and development of our future workforce; someone who demonstrates a commitment and enthusiasm towards supporting others to be the best they can be!

This position is part time (negotiable). 

Your Key Skills & Knowledge Areas

• A commitment to work within EQUALS' Mission, Vision and Values
• Develop partnerships with new and emerging employers, agencies and community organisations
• Assess partner requirements and suitability to host Student Placement
• Identify and action opportunities to add value to our industry partners
• Negotiate placement models consistent with accreditation requirements
• Ensure sufficient numbers of placements are available for students each year
• Liaise with facilitators and external supervisors
• Reporting on industry partner feedback and evaluation 
• Perform student eligibility checks 
• Effectively match students with partners, conduct preparatory interviews 
• Facilitate problem solving with students, partners and other stakeholders as needed
• Perform regular administrative and reporting as required
