About the role
You will be responsible for leading the planning and implementation of a calendar of events for students across all campuses, and online. In addition, you will provide expert advice, make recommendations, and oversee the timely, engaging, and effective events program for students.
You will:
- develop, implement, and monitor guidelines and service delivery agreements;
- develop effective working relationships with stakeholders across the University;
- manage and support staff, including proactively monitoring the achievement of key performance measures; and
- provide support and guidance to student clubs and groups to deliver equitable and engaging event opportunities for all students.
About you
You will possess demonstrated innovation and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on tasks and projects. In addition, you will have the ability to collaborate within a team environment and develop and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
You will possess:
- proven event and/or project management experience;
- ability to manage multiple complex tasks with competing deadlines;
- demonstrated skills in marketing, promotion and communication about events and activities; and
- ability to manage conflicting interests regarding students' aspirations and the policy and procedural requirements of the University.
