About the role

We are currently seeking motivated and energetic professionals to join the team at our Melbourne campus. If you are highly motivated, have experience and a dedicated Student Support Officer to work within the organisation's Administration Department, then this position offers excellent career opportunities in a friendly and supportive work environment.

This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

As a Student Support Officer, you will be instrumental in assuming the following but not limited to, receptionist / admin duties and responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to students by responding to general queries, processing enrolments, issuing of training plans, and managing the customer retention process

• Ensure student data and records are entered accurately

• Set up, maintain, and pack up room requirements

• Liaise with employers and facilitators

• Collaborate well with others, building and maintain effective relationships with staff and management

• Assist in the preparation of organisational events, as instructed by the Campus Manager.

• Assist with daily maintenance of operations and services.

• Answer, screen and transfer incoming phone calls, and distribute phone messages to the respective personnel.

• Respond to queries from students and other stakeholders.

• Maintain confidentiality, composure, and professionalism at all times.

Selection Criteria

• Minimum 1 year experience in general office administration and/or 1 year experience in student administration

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Good organisation and prioritisation skills

• Ability to easily mix well with others and satisfactorily carry out tasks in liaison with colleagues.

• Ability to maintain a professional and friendly persona during encounters with stakeholders.

• Effective and efficient time management skills.

• Accountability for personal work performance

• Keen attention to detail.

• Effective and efficient problem-solving skills.
