As part of our strategic expansion, we are seeking a highly capable and motivated Student Support Officer to join our Operations team at our campuses in Port Melbourne and CBD.
Key Responsibilities:
First Point of Contact:
Be the welcoming face and voice of Orange College, serving as the first point of contact for our students in a vibrant and student-centered environment.
Reception and House-Keeping:
Manage reception duties and maintain the student services area and boardroom, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
Student Engagement:
Engage with students daily, address inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive student experience.
Administrative Support:
Offer administrative support to our staff, contributing to the efficient operation of our campuses.
Record Management:
Maintain accurate student records and files, ensuring compliance with data management practices.
Information and Orientation:
Provide timely, concise, and accurate information to students. Conduct orientation and induction sessions, including safety presentations.
Student Management System:
Experience with SMS (Student Management System) Wisenet is preferred, enhancing your ability to streamline processes.
Support to Senior Management:
Offer support to senior management, compliance, and marketing/promotional activities as required.
Knowledge & Skills:
-Self-motivated with a strong, positive work ethic.
-Technological interest/experience is a plus.
-Organized and methodical approach to duties.
-Ability to translate logical concepts into practical actions.
-Understanding of logical and physical inventory concepts.
-Strong record-keeping skills.
-Previous administrative/Student Support experience is helpful.
-Weekend and evening availability is required to meet the diverse needs of our student population.
