McArthur is partnering with a market-leading architectural practice, located in the heart of Adelaide CBD, delivering holistic Urban Design, Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Interior Design services.
The Studio Manager will be an experienced administrator who plays a vital organisational role in how the practice is professionally represented to their staff, clients, and community.
The Studio Manager is required to support the Director, the Executive team and the broader studio team through best practice operations, coordination, and facility management.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing high-level administrative support, such as office administration; coordinating and booking training and development sessions; travel arrangements.
- Assisting the Director and leadership team with planning and organisation for events (both corporate and external including client and business development events).
- Coordinating facilities and building maintenance for the Adelaide office.
- Key oversight of the HR operations of the business - assist with the recruitment, onboarding and training of studio staff.
- Providing support to the leadership team i.e., project assistance, day to day project and office management and troubleshooting; meeting and event management.
- Monitor tender websites, the distribution of tenders to tender leads, managing tender workflow dashboard, and assistance with preparation of EOI's, submissions, proposals, and tender responses.
- Contribute to meeting project deliverables that provide financial benefits paralleled with client satisfaction and job satisfaction for staff members involved.
- Actively contribute to the development, maintenance, and evolution of our Quality Management System.
The successful candidate will ideally have a tertiary qualification in business administration or related field or have extensive experience as a senior administrator. You will have a strong knowledge of administrative procedures, document management and quality systems, and be able to demonstrate project management skills with a high level of attention to detail. You will have strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and public relations skills are essential. Candidates who are technologically adept with the capacity to utilise evolving and advanced software and AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency and communication systems are encouraged to apply.
