This role will be responsible for coordinating a multi-discipline team with full accountability across the quality, budget, schedule and risk management of the study works.
Our current studies suite covers the full range of metals and minerals, from the traditional gold and base metals through to the developing battery minerals e.g. Lithium, Aluminium, and Graphite etc.
Key Responsibilities Of The Role
- Manage and administrate the undertaking of study work to a budget and schedule
- Managing the progress of deliverables for each study
- Checking discipline engineering works as required
- Organising Peer Review activities at the appropriate junctures in the study works
- Ensuring design & study standards are followed
- Quality management and study report authoring
- Client relationship management and fostering good team relations
- Tertiary engineering qualification or similar
- At least 10+ years’ experience in a similar role (Lead Process/Study Engineer or Study Manager)
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
- Knowledge and experience in the development of feasibility studies in the Mining and Construction industries
- Knowledge of the JORC and NI-43-101 systems and the normally accepted estimating methodology and guidelines applied into minerals and mining projects
- Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point and Publisher)
