A bit about the role 

You will Work in collaboration with the Subdivision & Development Engineering team and other relevant stakeholders to help build Australia’s Most Liveable City through the implementation of Council’s statutory subdivision obligations and associated activities.

What you’ll deliver 

• Contribute to the efficient processing of applications for subdivisions under the Subdivision Act and Planning & Environment Act.
• Assist the Lead Subdivision Officer on all pertinent Subdivision issues.
• Contribute to and where appropriate administer the processing of subdivision matters.
• Provide advice and assistance to staff, land owners, surveyors, consulting engineers, developers and legal representatives
• Provide proactive advice to staff and applicants to contribute to the efficient delivery of the subdivision application.

What you’ll bring 

• Land surveying or technical qualifications or experience would be highly regarded but are not mandatory.
• Proven experience commensurate with the requirements of the position.
• Ability to interpret regulations and policies and apply precedents.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check &, Eligibility to Work check,
• A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
