Job Description
Are you passionate about managing and coordinating the tender submission process for civil construction projects? We are seeking a skilled Submissions Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves supervising, maintaining, and monitoring the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies and plans to support broader business objectives and enhance the company's external profile and reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Review existing company submission management systems, processes, and procedures; revise and develop as required.
- Oversee the submission management of all Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and Tenders, ensuring compliance with company processes, standards, and requirements.
- Develop and maintain a list of approved suppliers for submission resources, including submission managers, writers, and graphic artists.
- Monitor and review services delivered by submission teams and resources during EOI and tender preparation to ensure professional and high-quality work; manage performance as required.
- Assist EOI and tender teams by managing the preparation and submission of tender responses, including unpacking 'exam' questions in Returnable Schedules.
- Prepare and communicate submission programs with key milestones and ensure deadlines are met.
- Develop a Writing Plan and Writing Style Guide for the tender team, defining responsibilities, inputs, and common terms.
- Manage the tender review process, including bronze, silver, and gold reviews.
- Ensure all tender copy and graphics effectively communicate key messages aligned with win strategy and client requirements.
- Support the team throughout interactive programs, including scope of interactives, strategic messaging, presentations, and debriefs.
- Produce interactive presentations to a high quality and in an efficient manner, including internal reviews.
- Attend and participate in tender interactives and debriefing sessions.
Required Skills and Competencies
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating tender submission processes.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with graphic design software and MS Office suite.
- Previous experience in civil construction projects preferred.
