What You’ll Do:
We have an opportunity for an experienced Superintendent Projects to join our Engineering team at Curragh. In this crucial leadership position, you will directly report to the Manager of Engineering. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of Project Managers tasked with overseeing on-site capital projects across the Curragh business. This entails developing and managing portfolios to ensure the achievement of operational and compliance objectives.
The role entails developing and maintaining the Capital Management Committee agenda, ensuring that all relevant topics are addressed and managed by Project Managers. It also involves cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate collaborative approval processes, aiming for optimal outcomes aligned with company values. The keys to success in this role include:
Establish and guide a team of Project Managers, fostering their personal and professional growth to facilitate sustainable role succession within the Curragh business.
Work closely with Project Managers to address and fulfill requirements of the Capital Management Committee, particularly regarding Capital Expenditure Authorization and Capital Asset Requests.
Compile and analyse project management and financial data to produce comprehensive portfolio reports.
Create and sustain the agenda for Capital Management Committee meetings, ensuring comprehensive coverage of relevant topics and alignment with agreed project scopes and objectives.
Provide strategic oversight for the Capital Management Committee, overseeing performance monitoring and tracking across various information sources.
Utilise the Oracle Project Portfolio Management module to initiate and oversee projects, ensuring the accuracy and currency of project information.
Proactively build positive working relationships through teamwork and mutual respect.
What You’ll Bring:
Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering
Demonstrated experience in a Leadership position, preferably in Mining
Demonstrated experience in Project Management
Commercial acumen, contract management and analytical skills
Familiarity with ERP Systems (Oracle), Microsoft Suite of products, and FPE (or equivalent).
