The Opportunity

A positive attitude towards maintaining a safe working environment is essential. You will also need to be proficient with keeping accurate records in Council's Job Management Tool, Stormport.
What you'll be doing
We currently have a vacancy in our Stormwater Team. Your primary responsibility will be organising and scheduling maintenance of Council's Stormwater Infrastructure, which will include traffic management, organizing and liaising with sub-contractors and customers for reinstatement works. You will also learn to mentor the field staff and support Council's project engineers to help deliver "good work" across the Auckland Region.
What you'll bring to the table
- Be an Experienced Supervisor, Qualified Drain Layer or hold a Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
- At least 2 years' experience working in the industry.
- Class 1 Drivers License.
- Good level of physical fitness.
- Excellent use of the English language both verbal and written.
- Can do attitude.
- Be self-motivated & driven to succeed.
