Supervisor - Convenience & Supervisor - General Storage

As a member of the Lineage team, you are a critical link in the food supply chain.The Asia-Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore employing nearly 3000 team members.As we continue our transformation and growth journey in the region, we are now looking to appoint two Operations Supervisors to join our team at our Lurnea facility in Sydney.We have an opportunity for an Operations Supervisor for our General Storage business with rostered hours Monday to Friday, shift commencing at 5am.We also have an opportunity for an Operations Supervisor for our Convenience business with rostered hours Wednesday to Saturday, 10-hour shifts from 12 noon to 10pm.Both positions are responsible for ensuring that the team and shift operation is conducted efficiently and effectively, to meet customer requirements in line with policies and procedures.The Convenience role is additionally responsible for ensuring all orders are picked, packed and delivered to allocated stores every night, again whilst maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency.Key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:Safety - supporting and championing a culture of safety, ensuring company safety policies and procedures are implementedCustomer Service - ensuring agreed customer service levels are met on a consistent basis and regularly reviewing and taking corrective actions to address any issuesOperations - managing the operation within agreed contractual parameters to deliver quality customer serviceProductivity - ensuring productivity outcomes are achieved via direct supervision and allocation of tasksTraining - ensuring all staff are trained to operate all machinery/equipment and understand warehouse work systemsCI - seeking out opportunities for continuous improvementLeadership - Providing visible leadership by means of positive interaction, regular communication activities and establishing and reinforcing clear expectationsYour background and experience should ideally include:Extensive experience in a similar role, within the logistics and transport industryExperience leading a small/medium sized teamStrong understanding and implementation of safety procedures, product safety, quality and legality issuesAbility to determine manpower and equipment to meet workloads in line with legal and industrial relations frameworkStrong understanding of KPIs, and using them to monitor, improve and manage the operationGood understanding of the relationships between labour costs, productivity and profitabilityExperience working within regulatory frameworksStrong understanding of MHE and traffic managementWhat's exciting about these opportunities?As a values-based organisation, we're focused on providing our team with a safe, respectful and trusting environment where you can hopefully build a rewarding career feeding the communities we serve.We want to set you up for long-term success and so will provide you with the tools, training and support to deliver outstanding outcomes.We will also support your ongoing development and career aspirations, recognise your contributions and give you the opportunity to contribute to our transformation program.Lineage Logistics is dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic work environment and encourages applicants from all backgrounds to apply.Our Purpose: Transform the food supply-chain to eliminate waste and help feed the world.Our Vision: To be the world's most dynamic temperature-controlled logistics company.Our Values: Safe, Trust, Respect, Innovation, Bold & Servant Leadership.Why Lineage?Lineage is more than just a cold storage logistics business.
