Permanent Workshop Supervisor$120K SalaryWork Vehicle + Tools of the tradeMogo locationAbout the role.We are seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Supervisor to lead our workshop team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our transport and infrastructure Road Services fleet, plant, and assets. Your expertise will ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.What you will be doing:Mon- Fri and paid OT for weekendsSupervise and coordinate the daily activities of workshop staff, ensuring high standards of work quality and safety.Manage the maintenance, servicing, and repair of all vehicles, machinery, and equipment within the fleet.Develop and implement maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment performance.Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.Provide training and support to workshop staff to enhance their skills and performance.Collaborate with the operations team to prioritize and plan maintenance activities effectively.What you need:Proven experience in a supervisory role within a workshop or maintenance environment, preferably in transport or infrastructure.Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with a variety of plant and equipment.Relevant trade qualifications and certifications are highly desirable.Organise where required the outsourcing of repairs using the preferred contractor/supplier network.Be accountable for the quality of all maintenance, repair standards and Workshop safety standards and practices.Scheduling plant servicing in line with Downer and Supplier recommended frequenciesAddress plant defects as reported by OperationsMaintain accurate maintenance history of local plant to meet compliance standards including Chain of Responsibility.Data entry input to CMMS of defects, meter readings, service history/work ordersBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Work vehicle and tools providedIf you are a dedicated and experienced Workshop Supervisor looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we want to hear from you!About WorkPacWorkPac is Australia???s largest privately owned workforce services business with over 1.3 million registered candidates.
