Supervisor & Duty Managers - Full Time

Fantastic career prospects are available for motivated Front of House Supervisor and Duty Managers at The Haus Restaurant.  You will be responsible for leading and working in a dynamic team situated in the vibrant heart of Hahndorf, a busy restaurant, function and event center located only a 25 minute drive from the city of Adelaide. 

Your duties will involve providing support to the hands-on Restaurant Manager in leadership, supervising and managing daily restaurant operations, overseeing staff management, and actively executing functions, conferences, and events. 
You will also be actively involved in our Haus leadership training to become the best and most successful leader in the hospitality industry. 

You will work within an environment that prioritizes operational processes and procedures, enabling the venue and its employees to function with top-tier quality and efficiency.

Key Aspects:

• Streamlining restaurant operations through multitasking to uphold productivity, quality, and customer service standards and SOS.
• Providing positive leadership, coaching, and support for a dynamic Front of House (FOH) team consisting of 50+ employees.
• Conducting ongoing training and regular evaluations to ensure consistent high performance among team members.
• Maintaining a high standard of personal presentation and conduct in all professional interactions.
• Facilitating effective communication with managers, supervisors, department heads, colleagues, and customers.
• Offering comprehensive daily handovers and commentary to management upon request.
• Exercising keen attention to detail to guarantee high-quality outcomes in all aspects of the role.
• Undertaking emergency warden duties and responding to on-site first aid situations promptly.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated success in effectively managing high-paced restaurant/café/hotel environments, showcasing leadership abilities with a team of 15+ Front of House staff per shift.
• Capability to thrive and provide support in a team-oriented environment, even under high-pressure situations.
• Proven experience in supervising conferences and events, displaying a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to commit to weekend work and public holidays within specified guidelines.
   

Candidates applying for the supervisor position will be provided with mentoring and on the job training for future growth and development to upskill and ultimately become a duty manager in the future. 

There will be opportunities for growth and development including learning all aspects of running a busy and dynamic restaurant which may include rostering, ordering and stock control, WHS training, POS and reservation system management, small group training sessions, menu planning, wine list creation etc
