The Armadale Line Upgrade Alliance (ALUA) is an Alliance partnership between Acciona Construction Australia, BMD Constructions, WSP Australia, AECOM Australia and the Public Transport Authority (PTA). The Alliance is delivering the Victoria Park-Canning Level Crossing Removal project which will, elevated three sections of the rail line and remove six level crossings, create 5 new elevated train stations and create new publicly accessible spaces within the rail corridor.

We’re currently looking to engage experienced Structures Supervisors on a full-time basis to supervise and direct staff, subcontractors and suppliers. Our scope includes piling (CFA and Bored), in-situ pile caps, in-situ abutments, precast piers and superstructure installation, slab-track construction, noise walls and delivery of the overall completed superstructure elements.
Reporting to our Structures Superintendent, these newly created roles will see you:
- Work closely with the Structures Superintendent and other key stakeholders in delivering your allocated work scope safely, on time and to the required quality standards
- Actively drive safe outcomes in undertaking all activities by ensuring that the ALUA safety and cultural behaviors are applied by the team
- Contribute to and drive short and medium-term planning and scheduling for your works area with respect to the overall project requirements
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with the required quality requirements
- Live the ALUA project values and ensure the overall safety of our teams and people and the community
- Work closely with all other stakeholders across the Project site in achieving required outcomes
- Effectively planning works in your allocated area
- Manage and lead direct labour teams as well as contracting groups
- Provide a productive team environment where high morale contributes to the overall success of the project
What you will bring to the team:
- Previous experience in a Supervisory capacity ideally within the construction and/or resource sector;
- A proactive and well-informed approach to working safely
- Formal trade qualifications with in-situ and/or pre-cast erection experience considered favourably
- Ability to work collaboratively and positively with a range of internal customers and external suppliers;
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve;
- Proven communicator who can lead, train and influence positive those around them.
