About Our Client:
Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor for a 6-month contract.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for supervising and monitoring staff, laborers and contractors to ensure projects safety and technical specifications are adhered to.
- Work closely with Project managers and staff to coordinate and prioritise project work;
- Develop and maintain project documentation compliant with the clients policies, procedures and legislative requirements;
- Manage and maintain stakeholder communications and expectations;
- Maintain up-to-date schedules and registers for risk, cost and scope;
- Review and sign off on quality, testing and compliance requirements;
- Identify and mitigate corporate and project risks within the project lifecycle;
- Ensure timely and budget compliant project delivery.
To be successful for this role you will need the following:
Essential:
- Working knowledge of project management, construction, and contractual principles;
- Demonstrated experience in supervising maintenance or minor capital works;
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plan and drawings;
- Experience in infrastructure construction and contractor management;
- Ability to maintain project schedules, revise estimates and review claims;
- Proficiency in MS office suite.
