Workshop Supervisor
We are currently seeking experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team at BTP in Mackay , QLD . Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the Workshop Supervisor is accountable for the identification of growth opportunities and day-to-day management of the MRC and CRC service teams. You will have a strong operational focus on Safety and to plan and deliver on operational objectives across the area of responsibility.
Your role will be accountable for ensuring all maintenance activities are prioritised, scheduled, and undertaken in a safe and efficient manner adhering to company and customer policies, procedures, and critical risk standards are in alignment with BTP Group and Perenti’s Purpose, Principles and Aspirations.
Key Requirements
Australian Recognised Heavy Duty Trade Qualification
2-year experience as a supervisor with industry qualifications QMS 1/QMS 2/QMS 3
Experience on CAT, Komatsu, mining equipment with exceptional knowledge in engine, powertrain, electrical and hydraulic systems
Knowledge of the Caterpillar SIS system and dealer parts and service process
Build strong relationships with the internal stakeholders and external customers.
Effective planning and managing of resources to ensure the completion of projects are on time and within budget.
Ensure all team members have clear understanding of required expectations and deliverables.
Ensure compliance with legislation, statutory requirements, safety standards & WHS requirement are met.
Australian Permanent Work Rights
Proactive, highly motivated person with Strong communication and team working skills and a high level of time management.
Computer literate with MS Office 365 Word, MS Excel.
