The Role
Our Energy division are currently recruiting for Supply Base Operators for our facilities in Broome. This is a casual position with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate (temp to perm).
This is a residential role, FIFO is not on offer.
Key Responsibilities
As a Supply Base Operator you will be responsible for assisting with the efficient and timely delivery of logistical support for the Broome Supply Base and clients utilising the base including:
- Quarantine compliance
- Operating Forklift ensuring correct, secure and safe loading of vehicles
- Assisting truck drivers with loading and unloading
- Freight handling relating to the transport and logistics sector and oil and gas industry
- Pre-starts including checking the fluid levels
- General warehouse / yard duties
- Using hand trolleys and similar lifting equipment
Skills & Experience
- Minimum "C" class licence
- Experience in a similar role (desirable)
- High risk licence - Forklift (preferred)
- The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the transport and logistics sector (desirable)
- A reasonable level of fitness
- Strong customer service orientation, positive attitude, good work ethic and team participation
- National police clearance - within 6 months old (or be able to obtain one)
