The company has been selected as the contractor to supply Land 8116, and now Land 400 Phase 3, the latter of which is the Australian Army’s largest ever acquisition program to date.

Your new role:
The Supply Chain Analyst reports to the Supply Chain Lead Analyst and is responsible for the analysis of related data to support the Supply Chain and Procurement teams. This includes the analysis of all Supply Chain and procurement needs to support Hanwha Defence Australia in the production of tracked armoured vehicles for the Australian Defence Force.
This role will be initially based out of our CBD offices before moving to H- ACE, Hanwha's Armoured Centre of Excellence located in Avalon. Which will be owned and operated by Hanwha Defense Australia to manufacture and develop armoured vehicles for the Commonwealth of Australia opening mid-year 2024.
Your primary areas of responsibilities:
- Perform operational Supply Chain related analytics to support efficient logistics outcomes including freight consolidation and de-risking supply for suppliers.
- Perform operational Supply Chain related analytics to optimize inventory accuracy, levels and reporting to ensure efficient supply to production.
- Perform procurement-related analytics to support sourcing, evaluation, down selection, negotiation, and contracting/sub-contract management.
- The development of quoting templates based on the scope of works before the commencement of Procurement sourcing activity.
- Assist in process improvement activities.
- Maintains compliance with all relevant governance, policies, and procedures.
- Contribute to the integrity of ERP Master Data.
- Prepare and manage cost-benefit analysis reports for review by internal customers.
- Ability to provide comprehensive and clear insights through data.
- Engage in and maintain effective and professional internal stakeholder relations.

Qualifications
- Degree qualification in business, finance, engineering or related field.
As an ideal candidate, you will have:
- Experience in a Supply Chain Analytical position
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in Power BI or similar (Desirable)
- Very good knowledge and experience of standard computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite Outlook/Email, Word), SAP Experience highly regarded
