We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and energetic individual to join us, in a unique role that fosters strong and seamless connections between our retail customers, grocery sales managers and Supply Chain teams.
Our ideal candidate is degree-qualified with 2-3 years’ relevant experience and is keen to progress their career in sales and/or Supply Chain.
You'll be part of a team that leads on every scorecard measured by innovation, growth, product development and, most importantly, best in class supply performance.
The Role
We pride ourselves on our strong and collaborative relationships with our retail partners. In this position, you will help us to continue to foster these relationships in a unique sales/Supply Chain role that has breadth and variety.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all orders from Peters Ice Cream to key retailer distribution centres, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) for both Supply Chain and sales functions
- Playing a central role in Peters’ internal Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, working collaboratively to drive efficiencies
- Collaborating with our retail partners, fostering communication and alignment on joint initiatives
- Utilising Excel to create reports and spreadsheets
About You
We are seeking proactive and motivated candidate who is aligned to our Core Values and has the potential for advancement within the business. Our ideal candidate brings:
- A tertiary qualification coupled with 2-3 years relevant experience ideally gained in FMCG, manufacturing, retail, or related industries; experience in field sales, Supply Chain or analyst roles is highly advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication, engagement, and influencing capability
- Strong numeracy and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude to understand data and use it to make decisions
- Highly accountable and inquisitive, with the motivation to learn, develop and embrace new challenges
- Excel skills
