Supply Chain Co-Ordinator

Our valued client is a well known national, family-friendly company working in the commercial air conditioning and refrigeration space with their head office in Osborne Park. This is a full-time, permanent role for someone looking for a new Supply Chain Management role with involvement in overseas procurement, liaison with suppliers and a range of interesting and varied duties.

The role will pay a generous salary depending on skills and experience and also includes a range of additional benefits including an additional day of paid leave every month, working from home one day per week, parking supplied and additional leave loading. POSITION OVERVIEW

Providing operational leadership for all aspects of the Supply Chain/ Imports function nationally for our client.

DETAILS OF THE POSITION

• Coordinating, processing and planning of overseas orders and shipments and working closely with our overseas manufacturing partners.
• Communicating and negotiating with suppliers and vendors with respect to logistics. 
• Collaborating with procurement department to determine best practice for freight in and freight consolidation.
• Ensuring the maintenance of accurate records with adherence to applicable regulatory and legal requirements.
• Safe guarding the Supply Chain and ensuring secure trade practise in compliance with regulations. 
• Ensuring proper compliance and adherence to Chain of Responsibility and Dangerous Goods regulations with regards for personal and inventory safety.
• Identifying and implementing improvements to purchasing and inventory management processes and activities.
• Providing product support regarding cost, duty exemption and all importing requirements.

We are seeking a person with exceptional communication skills and strong organisational strengths while maintaining great inter-personal relationships, meeting deadlines and showing plenty of initiative. Previous experience in a similar role will be well regarded and industry experience or relevant qualifications would be looked upon favourably but are not essential.
