About the opportunity
A unique opportunity reporting into the Supply Chain Manager and managing the pharmaceutical wholesale relationships from a Supply Chain perspective. This is not a sales role, this is a role where you will be the interface between the company and the wholesalers. You will be responsible for implementing processes and best practice to maximise these relationships.
Duties
- Develop cross functional distribution channel management strategies and execute these strategies for wholesalers and key buying groups
- Implement external S&OP meetings allowing more visibility
- Implement review meetings to ensure maximising the relationship
- Understand their inventory strategies, policies and any changes to warehouses and distribution
- Lead Supply Chain projects relevant to the different wholesalers
- Map and analyse networks, trends, data and ecosystems and secure market supply towards patients
- Drive deeper integration with their customers from a technical and business perspective
- Increase operational efficiency and reduce costs where possible
- Collaborate internally with key stakeholders
Skills and Experience
- Solid experience working in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on Supply Chain
- Experience managing relationships with pharmaceutical wholesalers or working in a pharmaceutical wholesaler would be advantageous
- Exceptional relationship building skills with the ability to influence
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- The ability to drive progress and lead projects
