Position Description
Reporting to the General Manager, the Supply Chain Analyst will be instrumental in optimizing the Supply Chain operations to ensure effective distribution of their products.
As part of a proactive and collaborative team, you will manage demand & supply planning, procurement and oversee logistics for a select portfolio of niche products across major national retailers, independent retailers and a D2C eCommerce store.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to align inventory with market demands
- Maintain optimal stock levels across various distribution channels to support sales goals and reduce out-of-stock incidents
- Manage procurement processes, ensuring all activities comply with import regulations
- Negotiate supplier terms to improve cost-effectiveness
- Analyse Supply Chain data to enhance operational efficiency, with a focus on reducing landed costs and increasing container utilisation
- Communicate closely with overseas suppliers and shippers
- Run weekly S&OP meetings to align sales and Supply Chain strategies; provide actionable briefings to cross-functional partners
- 3+ years of proven experience in demand planning, supply planning and procurement, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain management, logistics, business administration or related field
- Experience working within consumable FMCG (food & beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, tobacco, etc) is required; deep understanding of import regulations as it relates to these types of products including customs and quarantine protocols
- Experience working with global import, global supplier management and international freight forwarding is essential
- Exceptional analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to thrive in a small, dynamic team environment with comprehensive understanding of broader business objectives
- Advanced level Excel skills
- Experience working with Cin7 or similar ERP
