We are looking for a versatile Supply Chain Specialist who will bring meticulous attention to detail, a comprehensive business perspective, and strong commercial acumen. As part of a small, dynamic team, you will embody the spirit of teamwork and innovation to help us deliver excellence in our Supply Chain operations.
Your Role: This role includes elements of supply planning, demand planning, and procurement, demanding a strong analytical mindset. You will be managing a relatively small niche product portfolio, primarily supplying Woolworths, Coles, and Independent Retailers, while also supporting our thriving D2C eCommerce store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute demand planning strategies to ensure inventory aligns with market needs.
- Manage supply planning to maintain optimal stock levels across all distribution channels.
- Oversee procurement activities, ensuring compliance with import regulations and negotiating favourable terms with suppliers.
- Analyse data to identify opportunities for optimising the Supply Chain, improving landed costs, and enhancing container fill rates.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers & shippers, occasionally working irregular hours to align with their time zones.
- Provide clear and concise briefings to the sales teams during the weekly S&OP meetings, ensuring alignment between Supply Chain operations and sales strategies to support seamless product distribution and optimise inventory management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in demand planning, supply planning, and procurement, with an emphasis on data analysis.
- Comprehensive understanding of food imports, including customs and quarantine requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in working for a small, dynamic team, with a broad understanding of business operations.
