We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team on a full-time basis to oversee and plan the operations and distribution process of Nu-Pure ensuring the timely and accurate delivery material and all aspects of stock control.
Position Key Responsibilities:- Planning and reviewing distribution strategies, defining and implementing the production plan for Nu-Pure’s local plants
- Maintaining plans to monitor the required stock levels and supervising warehouse staff and activities
- Ensuring Nu-Pure products are produced and delivered on time to fulfil sales demand, taking into consideration warehouse and daily production capacity
- Reviewing inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times.
- Controlling raw material inventory levels and deliveries to fulfil the production plan and avoid any downtime related to it.
- Ensuring sales orders information are received, and the internal protocol is implemented in a methodical and organized manner.
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements.
- Liaising with other Departments to meet deadlines and requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation.
- Monitoring all the SMOG (slow moving and obsolete goods) materials to maximize the warehouse occupation.
- Ensuring the accuracy of Nu-Pure recording system of all physical movement of material in the warehouses
- Coordinating activities to ensure that warehouse staff accurately match the deliveries to their respective Sales Orders and generate “Internal Packing Information” slip, according to the instructions
- Overseeing planning integration for new items and transfers of finished goods or raw materials between plants according to the production plan.
- Liaising with customers as required, providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Ensuring that safety equipment is used correctly at all times
- Taking a proactive approach to the health and safety of others.
- The successful candidate will possess minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role and /or a relevant qualification.
- Ability to communicate concerns and solutions to different stakeholders with varying degrees of business knowledge.
- Management and supervisory experience in similar roles
- Advanced ability to review and generate reports using window package
- Ability to navigate our information system and perform all functions with regards to stock movement
