This well established and dynamic company is in search of a Supply Chain Manager to join their aviation organisation in Cairns. You will bring with you the ability to manage their complex Supply Chain operations. Your new role
As SCM you will work within a defence project maintenance environment, coordinating all Supply Chain and procurement activities. Your main duties and responsibilities will include managing the effective operation of the Supply Chain, logistics and store function, performing functions such as material procurement, production planning inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution supporting all maintenance projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- Significant experience with Supply Chain and Procurement experience with the ability to manage a complex Supply Chain function.
- Experience in general aviation is desirable
- Lead multiple lines of maintenance and manufacturing
- Qualifications in Supply Chain Management or related discipline
- Ability to do Supply Chain reporting, performance evaluation and assessment
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience working in a logistics support and maintenance environment
- Eligibility to be able to hold Defence Clearance preferred
