Northrop Grumman's MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions. The aircraft can fly for more than 24 hours at a time, at an altitude above 55,000 feet and an operational range of 8,200 nautical miles. Australia is a cooperative program partner in the Triton program which consists of the US Navy, Royal Australian Air Force, and Northrop Grumman.
Your role:
As a Supply Chain Modeller and Data Analyst within the SMS OU Supply Chain Modelling and Advanced Analytics Team, your role is pivotal in conducting strategic and tactical modelling for assigned programs. Reporting to the Program Supply Chain Manager, you collaborate closely with the SMS OU Supply Chain Optimisation Manager to conduct both static and dynamic Spares Modelling, supporting planning and scenario analysis. Additionally, you play a crucial role in Supply Chain data extraction, metric production, and maintaining data accuracy, working collaboratively with various teams, including Demand & Supply planners and procurement.
Key outputs expected from your role include the development and maintenance of Supply Chain models, a well-defined modelling rhythm, outputs of modelling and analysis activities with relevant documentation, Supply Chain metric tools, and established data maintenance standards. Your contribution enhances the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Supply Chain, providing critical insights and support for program success.
About You:
In this role, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and demonstrate expertise in Modelling and Modelling Suite tools such as OPUS10/CATLOC/SIMLOX, complemented by Reliability training akin to the RAAF Reliability Engineering Course. Your successful completion of the Defence MILIS Cataloguer Course and Defence Logistics Assessor Course, coupled with proficiency in NCB Tools, underscores your versatile skill set. With a background in aviation, you possess competencies spanning Complex Aircraft Spares modelling, a nuanced understanding of Reliability's impact on modelling, and hands-on experience in Defence Aircraft Operations and Logistic Support arrangements.
In addition to your technical proficiency, you excel in analytical and reporting skills, evidenced by your capability to generate comprehensive reports on Sparing Models. You will leverage your adeptness in developing and delivering presentations to senior management, paired with practical familiarity with CAMM2 and MILIS, to effectively convey modelled scenarios and strategic options. In essence, you are poised to bring a versatile mix of technical expertise, practical experience, and strategic insight to roles requiring a comprehensive understanding of logistics, operations, and modelling across various domains.
