Supply Chain Operations Assistant - Redlands Apply now Job no: 499900 Work type: Permanent Location: Redlands, South Brisbane Categories: Supply Chain Operations About the role Mater Procurement and Supply Chain Team are searching for a Supply Chain Operations Assistant. This is a permanent, part-time (20 hours per week) position based at our Redlands hospital. This position will initially be Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day but with a chance for review post probation. The Supply Chain Operations Assistant is part of a centralised Mater Supply Chain Operations team, which is focused on building collaborative, customer-focused relationships and adopting a business partnering approach. Salary range: $56,863 - 65,991 pro-rata (20 hours per week) What you’ll be doing The Supply Chain Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting continuous improvement activities. Supply Chain Operations works with a one team approach to delivering services, and all team members are expected to participate in activities which support improvement and change in the delivery of regional Supply Chain services including purchasing, inventory control, warehousing, imprest management and customer service. Some of your key duties will include (but not limited to): Ensure accurate receipt of goods and distribution within the hospital campus Raise issues with orders and stock as a priority and work collaboratively within the Supply Chain Operations team to resolve Support stocktake activities and provide support to the Supply Chain Operations team to maintain a high-quality stock control process within the warehouse Ensure goods are distributed in a consistent and timely manner to Mater customers, following Supply Chain Operations team communication and process standards Provide support for Mater customers in the delivery of goods and contribute to the safe, effective and quality operations of health services Undertake other duties/tasks as requested from time to time About you A Certificate II in Transport and Logistics (Warehousing and Storage), or equivalent is desirable Demonstrated experience of warehousing operations is essential, ideally gained in a large, complex organisation Demonstrated experience of working with an inventory management platform/s is essential, including imprest management Prior experience working in inventory and warehousing in a healthcare setting is desirable Must be an organised, self-starter with strong attention to detail Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with a strong commitment to customer service Why join us?
