In Australia, we operate five steelmaking coal mines in Queensland's Bowen Basin, and have additional joint venture interests in steelmaking coal and manganese, as well as copper exploration projects underway in Northwest Queensland and Western Australia.Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity exists within our Supply Chain function based in Moranbah, supporting our Moranbah North and Grosvenor mines on a permanent basis. The Supply Chain Operations Analyst provides analyst service support to the interface management between Supply Chain, our mine operations, and suppliers. You will drive operational Supply Chain excellence at a Business Unit/ Asset level for two underground coal mines.This role will see you accountable for:

• Engage with the asset operational planning team and provide analytics to support the strategic asset process
• Contribute to demand planning and forecasting in order to ensure alignment between Supply Chain and asset/ BU plans and support on-site performance
• Provide analyst support for asset scorecard and Supply Chain target reporting
• Provide analyst support with end-to-end Supply Chain operational performance and excellence at an asset level
• Identify and escalate to any issues which impact delivery performance
• Support cross collaboration between internal and external stakeholders and help to resolve complex Supply Chain issues and escalations from the operations
• Contribute to implementing Supplier Relationship Management processes across the operations
• Support with embedding consistent asset compliance to Supply Chain policies and standards across the BU
• Provide analyst support to contractual requirements and asset initiatives related to Sustainability, Inclusive Procurement & Social
• Provide support to ensure an effective and efficient PSC service is provided to all assets and BU stakeholders

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience within a commercial team or relevant Supply Chain role
• A bachelor's degree in business, data analytics or related industry (desirable)
• Sound technical knowledge across the Supply Chain value chain, including Supply Chain systems and processes
• Good supplier and contractor relationship management skills
• Data driven individual with a mindset for continuous improvement
