Supply Chain Operations Traineeship

The Opportunity

MIGAS is proud to be partnering with Stanmore, one of Australia’s largest suppliers of metallurgical coal with a focus on safety and sustainability.

We are looking for a Supply Chain Operations (Warehouse) Trainee who is looking to balance physical work in a busy warehouse with computer work while completing a TLI30321 Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations (24 months).

This position is full-time, and based on-site at the Poitrel Mine which is about 40km from Moranbah.

Stanmore Resources is an Australian resources company with world-class operations and exploration projects in the Bowen and Surat basins. Their high quality mining practices and strong safety and health culture drives their focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

You will be mentored by industry professionals while completing a blend of on-the-job training and theory coursework.

Your working roster will be 7 days on and 7 days off with early start times and a 12 hour shift.Unless you are residing in Moranbah you will be staying at Civeo Coppabella mining camp during your rostered work time.

Your duties will include, but not limited to:

• Goods receipt
• Goods issue (planned and breakdowns)
• Stock take
• Bin maintenance / general housekeeping
• Shipping / repairable
• DG handling and storage
• Loading / unloading
• Escorting deliveries
• Working inline with SOPs and SWIs
• Participating in safety interactions and completing every task safely

About You

The successful candidate doesn’t need to have extensive work experience in Supply Chains or in mining – this is an entry level position where you will gain it.

You must have excellent communication skills and be ready and willing to undertake physical work.
