We are currently seeking an experienced Supply Planner to join our team in Melbourne.
As the Supply Planner, you will be responsible for production scheduling, managing inventory levels, placing purchase orders, and liaising with internal staff and suppliers to ensure timely product delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain demand forecasts at the item level and ensure accurate MRP output.
- Maintain master data to ensure the accuracy of MRP output.
- Schedule production for a small team of factory personnel.
- Place purchase orders in a timely manner and update purchase order due dates.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely product delivery and manage in-transit shipments.
- Review potential stockouts and communicate supply issues to relevant departments.
- Attend and contribute to Sales and Operations planning meetings.
- Follow operational procedures and maintain inventory levels in line with company policy.
- Follow the guidelines as set out in the Employee Company Handbook.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Other tasks as directed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a supply team, production scheduling.
- Experience in placing purchase orders with overseas suppliers and tracking orders from dispatch to warehouse receipt.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), with particular emphasis on Excel and email management.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized and able to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably PRONTO.
- Experience working with Inventory Management and Forecast systems, preferably NETSTOCK.

- Deal with internal and external suppliers professionally.
- Keep Purchase Order ETAs accurate.
- Ontime demand forecast maintenance.
- Ontime Purchase order Placement.
- Pronto Master Data Up to Date.
- Fill rate improvement on manufactured items
