Join Saputo Dairy Australia in a fulltime permanent opportunity as a Supply Chain Planner – Bulk Dairy Liquids. This role will operate on a Wednesday to Sunday basis (with Monday and Tuesday as days off) to ensure we have sufficient weekend coverage of Bulk Dairy Liquids planning.
How you will make contributions that matter
You will ensure the execution of milk movements across the Saputo Dairy Australia (SDA) network aligns with our strategic goals, delivering the highest possible results. The role involves coordinating short-term risks and opportunities, managing network adjustments, and providing accurate forecasts for milk and other dairy solids movements over a 0-to-4-week timeframe.
Key elements of your role will include:
- Controlling and managing movements by ensuring bulk liquid movements are aligned with contracts and approved variances.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across Supplier Relations, S&OP, IBL and Operations to develop, communicate and manage movement plans and forecasts
- Identifying opportunities, monitoring third-party performance, addressing any issues and engaging with third parties for mutually beneficial arrangements
- Supporting the sourcing of additional milk/sales of excess milk
- Leading weekly milk planning and scheduling and overseeing dairy milk volumes to ensure alignment with forecasts.
About you
You will have:
- Tertiary studies in commerce, business, finance, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- Preferably, experience in the dairy industry, focusing on dairy solids trading, movement or administration or balancing solids however candidates with experience in a similarly complex planning environment are also encouraged to apply
- A strong analytical mind with the ability to problem solve, communicate effective with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborate cross functionally.
