About your new role
In this role, you will be reporting to the Associate Planning Manager and will be responsible for, but not limited to the following –
- Managing overall inventory in your portfolio, strategic planning
- Planning and executing procurement of finished goods
- Proactive communication with internal stakeholders around supply and lead times
- Managing planning parameters for your portfolio including ABC classification
- Setting of optimal safety stock levels, minimum order quantity, lead time, and product launch
- Maintaining all relevant documentation, driving lead initiatives and continuous improvement and adhering to company standards
- Strong experience within procurement, procurement or distribution, ideally within the medical industry
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field
- Knowledge of Lean concepts, desirable if you possess Lean Certification
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong technology skills across MS Office Suite, ERP systems and Quality Management System
