Supply Planner

COMPANY

This international business has been operating for over 15 years and imports a number of goods within the FMCG market.

POSITION

You will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

• Ensuring adequate supply of raw materials and components to meet production requirements
• Lead the production planning process by liaising with key stake holders within the business
• Inventory management of raw materials, packaging and finished goods.
• Coordinating stock takes and weekly cycle counts, to ensuring accurate data in ERP system
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across customer service, sales, and operations, communicating and resolving any delays both internally and to external customers.
• Driving a continuous improvement culture through the supply chain function, identifying opportunities for improvement, reporting to management, and implementing process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure monthly and weekly forecasts are accurate for procurement and manufacturing of goods.
• Analysis of system BOM to actual material usage and output. Investigating discrepancies and reporting back to CFO.
• Work with suppliers to obtain best procurement pricing, delivery scheduling and optimizing just in time material operating model.
• Maintain Approved Supplier List

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

To be considered for this position it is vital that you have the below experience:

• Strong previous Supply Planner experience
• This MUST be within a "blue collar" workforce; Manufacturing, Construction, Mining, Trade, Transport, Warehousing, Industrial etc
• Tertiary qualifications within the Supply Chain Management field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, intermedia/advanced excel skills
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
