As the Supply Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic business planning and supply chain management of your own portfolio of products whilst leading a small team of Supply Planner’s across multiple business segments.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Director of Strategy, Sales, & Marketing you will;
- Provide overall strategic leadership and management of the Supply Planning Team, to maximise sales and profit results.
- Develop and implement future Supply Planning activities for the growth of new and existing product ranges and services, aligning with the overall business mid to long-term strategy.
- Expand the current business of existing products using a ‘maintain/improve’ strategic mindset, including analysis, development, product transition, and launch support.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, internally (Sales, Marketing, Service, and Supply Chain teams) and externally (Business Partners and End Users), to drive cross-functional collaboration and execution of strategic Supply Planning initiatives.
- Lead and develop recommendations to maximise sales and profitability of current and new product releases, collaborating with Sales teams for Channel and End User pricing strategies.
- Develop annual and three-year Supply Planning budgets for the company, providing insights for forecasting, measurements, and reporting as required by the Executive Leadership Team.
- Support all recommendations with research and data with a mid to long-term strategic business approach.
- Collaborate with the Supply Planning Managers to undertake additional projects and activities instrumental to long-term success.
- Support other departments with strategy through Business as Usual engagements, specifically in product lifecycle management, inventory, allocations, shipments, and finance reporting.
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you must have the following:
- Tertiary qualification in Business or a related field.
- Proven success in managing supply chain functions or similar roles.
- 5-8 years of experience in Supply Planning and future business planning.
- Proven ability managing and mentoring to a team.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
- Strong familiarity with planning software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and data-related skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness.
- Proven ability to develop supply chain plans within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Proven ability to plan and oversee the implementation of a supply chain strategy.
