Support Coordinator

AUsome Supports is hiring an experienced Support Coordinator! 

We are looking for a Support Coordinator to join our team based in the Gladstone/Boyne area. The role will be a 10 hour minimum part-time contract, with capacity to increase as you build your case load. We work in a flexible environment and encourage a healthy work/life balance.  

We are look for a person with knowledge of the NDIS. This is the perfect opportunity for a passionate person who loves working in a team but can also thrive working independently. 

Your role will be to assist participants of the NDIS to understand, implement and use their plan, and ensure they have a choice of a variety of supports to increase capacity to maintain relationships, manage service delivery tasks, live more independently and be included in their community. 

Qualifications and Experience: 

• Posses and demonstrate sound experience, knowledge and/or training relevant to the position 
• Current Drivers License (Essential) 
• Current Police Check, or willing to obtain (Essential) 
• Current Working With People With Disabilities (Yellow Card) or willing to obtain (Essential) 
• Current Working with Children Card (Blue Card) or willing to obtain (Essential)
• Minimum of Cert IV in Community Services, Disability Support or Mental Health with be advantageous
• Good knowledge of the NDIS and how to best utilise budgets flexibly to suit goals and disability requirements of individuals 
• Exceptional Time Management Skills 
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Essential) 
• Flexible work hours to suit client needs 
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously 
• Ability to travel between sites

• Be personable to build relationships and rapport
