The Oji Foodservice Packaging Solutions division distributes paper based food packaging products for a wide variety of uses including cold drinks, hot beverages, hot chips, ice-cream, yoghurt, popcorn, chicken and many other products which benefit from being presented in well-designed packaging.
We are currently seeking a highly driven Financial Accountant to join the commercial finance team on a Part Time basis (3.5 days p/w), primarily based from the larger corrugated plant in Yatala QLD. This is a key position reporting directly to the Commercial Manager for Packaging Australia.
You will provide financial support to the Foodservice business and be responsible for all accounting related documentation and analysis for the Larapinta division. To do this, you will need to understand the key drivers of the business, identify and minimise potential financial risks and ensure integrity of financial reporting.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Degree qualification in commerce, accounting or business
- Studying towards CA/CPA
- Minimum 3 years accounting and standard costing experience
- Experience/exposure to a manufacturing/industrial environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Extensive exposure to SAP Production
- BPC/Hyperion
- Audit experience desirable
This position will provide you with plenty of opportunity to utilise your commercial acumen and reporting skills in a results oriented and professional environment. You will form part of the site leadership team as a subject matter expert around operational and strategic issues. Excellent communication and a passion for drive and excellence is paramount.
