Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with managers and other senior staff to ensure the provision of high quality, effective services relating to rosters, reporting, recruitment and establishment maintenance.
The Role
- Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of rosters for the operational business units, including entering leave data and staff absences.
- Assist in ensuring roster projections are in line with Ambulance Tasmania Award rostering provisions.
- Provide assistance to the operational business units by supporting tasks such as rostering, updating establishments, and assisting with recruitment as required.
- Maintain communication and collaboration with managers and supervisors to ensure that operational business needs and issues are communicated proactively and in a timely manner.
- Manage incoming phone calls, accurately record absences of the front-line staff, and update Daily Alterations accordingly.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including Ambulance Tasmania, Department of Health, and other external stakeholders.
Details of Appointment
Multiple permanent full time, shift worker positions working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
- Proven experience in preparing, maintaining, and managing rosters.
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Conviction checks in the following areas:
- crimes of violence
- sex related offences
- serious drug offences
- crimes involving dishonesty
- Identification check
- Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
